Golf runs deep in Clint Newton's DNA. As the son of Jack Newton OAM — one of Australia's greatest ever golfers, runner-up at the 1975 British Open and 1980 Masters, and founder of the Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation — Clint grew up immersed in the sport that shaped his family.

After a decorated NRL career spanning 14 seasons across the Newcastle Knights, Melbourne Storm and Penrith Panthers, Clint has dedicated himself to sport's power to change lives — first as CEO of the Rugby League Players Association, and now as Chairman of the Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation.

When Clint saw Golf Daze, he saw exactly what his father always believed in — a way to get more people playing golf, wherever they are.

“Golf Daze is the most exciting innovation I've seen in golf for a long time. Dad's ambition was always to get more people with golf clubs in their hands — this is a fantastic way to do that. I'm excited to be involved.”
